Inscriptions and Renovations

As well as offering new memorials, we are also able to add inscriptions to existing headstones.

 

	Our craftsmen can match any lettering that may be on the original headstone, whether they were hand cut with hammer and chisel, machine cut or sandblasted, gilded or leaded, no matter the age or style.
We can offer advice on the lettering and placement, also we can clean and redo the existing wording if it needs re-gilding, painting or re-leading. All our no obligation estimates and quotes are given free of charge.

At J. Rawson & Sons, we have specialized in the renovation of old, damaged or unsafe memorials. We have extensive knowledge and experience in cleaning, sand-blasting, repairing 'flush' and 'raised' lead lettering, re-gilding and repainting hand carved or sand blasted letters
